- : : Bottom line is this, if I were buying a system from scratch today, I
- : : wouldn't even consider an Amiga, it's too old and too damn expensive.
-
- : Which is why I say there will be no new blood until the PPC amiga comes down
- : the pipe. All AT is doing now is soaking up the remainging a500 straglers
- : along with a few of thier friends.
-
- Well, I believe that a 'specific use' application for the Amiga, such as
- the low-cost Web Browser could change this quite easily. The lower ability
- will not pose a problem if it does the 'specific' job it is assigned to do.
- And, hey, these people get a whole computer that can use all the other
- software as well as the Web Browsing aspect. The people who want it mainly
- for the Web can't likely be upset about that. Just a consideration.
